Daikoku
woodsy, incense, hinoki, sandalwood, precious florals, shinto temple
Enter the temple, where the aroma of the sun-drenched temple walls merges with sacred incense. Japanese woods are home to abundant offerings.
This is a ceremonial-grade, natural perfume that may be used as both a daily fragrance and ritual aromatic. Drawing from my decades of experience as a natural perfumer, wild priestess, and spiritual wisdom keeper, I intentionally selected the rare and potent plants in this blend to create a perfume that is both a work of art and elixir of transformation.
Top Notes: hinoki and hiba
Middle Notes: rose, balsam fir
Base Notes: buddhawood, sandalwood, eaglewood
*This is only a selection of the key notes. The actual perfume contains dozens of distinct essences.

a botanical perfume for the Japanese god of wealth and abundance
Daikoku, also known as Daikokuten, is one of seven lucky gods in Japan, and he is the lucky god of wealth, food, and worldly success. Daikoku’s perfume is an ode to the land he hails from, Japan. Sweet incense and fragrant wooden temples meet in a perfume that smells like the wealth it will bring you. This is one of my personal favorites.
Magical Highlights:
A trio of Japanese cedars and cypress—the same woods used make Japanese temples are found in this perfume
Sandalwood—brings the lingering aroma of the incense floating through Daikoku's temples
Buddhawood—a nod to Daikoku’s origins
Precious woods and florals—to bring you abundance and wealth, in spirit and in life
Rituals:
Call upon Daikoku to bring wealth, abundance, and plentiful harvests into your life. In my experience, his presence brings gifts of luck in the material world—from winning giveaways to receiving surprising opportunities. Daikoku will help you embrace the joy of receiving abundance into your life.
Anoint your wrists, neck, and solar plexus with Daikoku’s perfume. As you do, affirm:
I call upon the great deity Daikoku, one of the Seven Spirits of Good Fortune. I gratefully receive his loving blessings of wealth and success.
I now release any old patterns or blocks that prevent me from accepting abundance into my life. I embrace the joy that comes from not only having my basic needs met, but being able to thrive in the material world. Thank you, Daikoku, for working your magic on my behalf.
To really activate your connection with Daikoku, place a small statue of him in our kitchen, along with offerings of sake and rice.
