Shipping Times
Alchemessence is a one-woman show. I personally make, label, package, and ship every item I sell. This means that processing orders can take a little longer than your big box stores.
Orders (excluding custom products) usually take 1-2 weeks to process and ship. Shipping time varies depending on your location: usually 5-7 business days.
Rush delivery is available for an additional fee upon request.
Lost or Damaged Orders
Alchemessence is not responsible for products damaged during shipment by USPS, Fed EX or USPS. If you’re concerned, insurance is available as a shipping add-on. Most orders shipped via USPS automatically include $100 worth of insurance. It is always your responsibility to file insurance claims.
Please know that I do everything correctly, carefully, and standardized on my end, and I see the same tracking information that you see. I cannot be responsible for delivery after that point. I am always willing to provide order information to you so you can file an insurance claim.
If your tracking says “Delivered” and you are stating that you did not receive your order, the insurance will not cover your order. In that case you will need to speak to your own USPS Postal Service or UPS. There is nothing I can do on my end. I ship to the address you provide at checkout. Be sure your shipping address is correct at checkout. Please make sure the address it is being delivered to is as safe and secure as possible.
International Orders
International shipping is currently available to Canada and select overseas locations. I add all international locations by hand, so if you don’t see your country listed, contact me and I’ll add it :)
Important Note: If you’re ordering alcohol-based perfumes, the total liquid amount needs to be under 15ml. For example, you can order up to 10 samples, or 3 5ml perfumes, or 1 13ml perfume.
International shipping is only available on orders up to 4lbs (1.8kg).
In purchasing, international buyers agree to assume the risk of arrival of all items. I cannot replace lost or seized items. By purchasing, you agree to these terms.
I reserve the right to cancel any international order that does not meet my shipping guidelines.
Return Policy
I pride myself on delivering high quality botanical perfumes and other offerings. I offer samples of all perfumes, and you’re encouraged to try a tester before you buy to ensure you enjoy your fragrance.
Due to the nature of these products, I am unable to accept returns and all sales are final.
Damaged / Incorrect Goods
If you receive an order, where in fact the bottle has leaked, been broken, was not the correct product, or is otherwise unusable, please contact me immediately (within five business days of receiving your shipment). In circumstances like this, I will effort to correct the mistake as soon as possible. I request that you return the original product in these situations, so make sure to hold onto any damaged/incorrect items.
Cancelling Recent Orders
My process from receiving your order to time of shipment usually begins within 24 hours. I hand label and pour all perfumes to order and provide individual attention to many other goods. If you made a mistake with your order, contact me as soon as you notice. If possible, I will update your order; however, this may not be possible.
Custom Products
Please allow 4 - 6 weeks for the formulation of your products (a bit more for bespoke perfumes and large custom orders). All sales are final on custom blended products (including but not limited to oils, sprays, inhalers, herbal blends, salves, Soul Synergies, botanical perfumes, and more).
